SPACE TRAVEL. CLOSER THAN EVER.

SPACE DISCOVERY combines history, science, and the future into a journey through space. You’ll experience the countdown to a rocket launch, discover life on the ISS, witness the moon landing, and gaze out at Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.

Here, spectacular staging meets real space technology: models, replicas, and exhibits from the German and European space programs illustrate how ideas become missions.

AN IMMERSIVE JOURNEY THROUGH THE SOLAR SYSTEM

Monumental projections, light, and sound take viewers on a journey from Earth, through the Moon and Mars, all the way to Jupiter and Saturn.

SPACE EXPLORATION YOU CAN TOUCH

Discover a faithful replica of the Lunar Rover, an Apollo A7L replica, and other exciting exhibits and models.

MISSION ISS & INTERACTIVE EXPLORATION

Find out how people live and work in space, launch your own rocket, and test your skills for a mission.

GERMANY & EUROPE IN SPACE

Together with our partners, SPACE DISCOVERY shows how the future of space exploration is taking shape today.

THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE SPACE

360° in the Heart of the Solar System

The emotional heart of SPACE DISCOVERY: In about 20 minutes, visitors journey from Earth out into the solar system. Large-scale 360° visual experiences, light, and sound make distances and dimensions physically tangible.

For Young and Old

AN ADVENTURE FOR EXPLORERS OF ALL AGES

Launch rockets, test your reaction time, discover daily life on the ISS, and compare gravity on other worlds: Interactive stations make space travel easy to understand, fun, and something everyone can experience together.

For families, school groups, space enthusiasts—and anyone who wants to know what lies beyond the next horizon.

FROM THE STARS TO THE QUESTION: WHAT’S NEXT?

A JOURNEY THROUGH SPACE TRAVEL

The tour takes visitors through a variety of themed exhibits: from a view of the night sky to the countdown and Mission Control at the ISS, and on to the Moon. From there, the journey continues out into the solar system and into the future of German and European space exploration.

Historical milestones meet research, technology, and interactive experiences. In the end, our gaze turns back toward Earth—and forward: What’s next?

ASTRONAUT RABEA ROGGE

Space Exploration Up Close

Astronaut Rabea Rogge, the first German woman in space, serves as a scientific advisor for SPACE DISCOVERY and brings an astronaut’s perspective to the exhibition. Her perspective connects the grand narratives of space exploration with the personal experience of a mission—and with a unique view of our Earth.
